Mr. Bopp. You Rock!

One of the things I've railed about constantly in the last several years is the lack of leadership in the Republican party, especially as it relates to the conservative base. There's a tendency, (and a dangerous one) to keep looking to the past and using RR as the measuring stick for anyone bold enough to stick their neck out and take a shot at leadership. After attending the Tea Party in DC and watching the base become energized in the last few months, I'm reconsidering my criteria for leadership. While it's tempting to look for messianic leadership to move us forward, for my money, it's people like James Bopp Jr., who represent the bright future of the conservative movement, Volume III. Indeed, his leadership and the leadership of others like him takes us back to the very root of the republic, when citizen politicians used their fundamental belief in Natural Law and their wits to work within the system first, then to rebuild the system when it failed to uphold Natural Law. Hoosiers have something to be really proud of in James Bopp Jr., much to the chagrin of Mother Jones!
